A treasure trove of some of the best short stories in English from the Philippines in the last 100 years. The audio narration makes each story come alive dramatically, and the introduction to each selection provides a wealth of insight to the author's background and formal analysis of the piece. Ideal for introducing a new generation of students to the rich tradition of the short story of the country, with representative stories by National Artists for Literature and winners of the Palanca Awards for Literature.
